Another beautiful day spent at 1000 Acres Dog Park.

It’s hard to believe that if I didn’t have a dog, I would have never discovered this amazing Portland park.

Ever since the Pup and I first went there, we’ve been hooked. There are seemingly endless paths, inviting nature nooks, watering holes, and lots of friends to play with.

I love that I can walk for hours, simply exploring, yet never worry about getting lost. There are plenty of open spaces for pups to play and to burn off steam, making it a great place to practice being off leash.

I love that when I get home, and get us both clean, he’s happy and content, and just wants to fall asleep. I swear he’s still there, when he closes his eyes and dreams.
